Excellent Bourne Facilities

Excellent Bourne Facilities

Date of stay August 7th: This is an excellent Aire de Service and an ideal stopover very close to the A71.  Officially there is a barrier and entry on payment of five euros but the barrier was raised when we arrived.  The Aire was almost full (including one caravan) but the alloted spaces were very large and could accommodate more than one vehicle if people wanted to be obliging – which they were.

The Aire had water, chemical and black water waste and also electric hook up (French plug required) and as the barrier was raised this was all provided free of charge.  We duly emptied, filled and charged and were all set to go the following morning.  This is a highly recommended stop over and can be found in the ‘All The Aires’ publication.

Turning left out of the site you will find an excellent Boulangerie with all the usual calorie add ons.
