Chateau L”Eveque

Date of stay:August 4th 2013. Despite nestling ubderneath a flyover and adjacent the railway line, this is a very pleasant Aire located in recently renovated gardens in the pretty village of Chateau L’Eveque.

One other Motorhome was there, otherwise we had it to ourselves. We parked across two spaces to accommodate the slide outs but the spaces were long enough to fit a 9m vehicle if you go to the very end of the car park adjacent the recycling. There is a newly constructed Bourne with facilities for dumping waste as well as toilets. All really well thought out.
There is flowing water in the gardens, picnic tables have been set out and we enjoyed our breakfast by the water. The boulangerie is less than 5 minutes walk away and a bridge over the water provides access to a pretty path and circular walk around the village.
If you don’t mind the trains (dont think I heard them at night) and a bit f noise from the flyover then this is a good overnight stop and as it is at a train station you can always head off somewhere for the day very easily.

It is possible to drive right past the entrance – loom for the train station, it is right next to it!  This was a really good stop over despite some noise pollution.
