Howling at Los Lobos

Cuddly Looking Wolf?

Cuddly Looking Wolf?

Date of stay Jume 2013 This stay for one night in the car park of Los Lobos was by special arrangement with Andalusia Detours and strictly not repeatable for an individual. Los Lobos itself is a very interesting visit Meet Daniel who is fanatical about wolves: so fanatical that he has built enormous pens to maintain various species of wolves in their natural wild state. His mission in life is to teach us that wolves are not a threat to people. He is persuasive but I would still keep well clear!  I do find it interesting that the photo Daniel uses to promote the park (unlike my ‘cute wolf’) is of a very scary, teeth bared, snarling animal.
That said, the evening howling is an unforgettable visit which they only do a couple of times a month and was  specially arranged by Andalusia Detours along with an excellent evening meal. There is also a small animal zoo and the inevitable merchandising but with some quite interesting ‘wolf related’ items.

All in all a great evening.
