One for you Francofiles for sure.  This App focuses solely on French Aires.  It is similar to proMobil in operation.  Either find sites based on your current position or by searching for a town or city.  Then see the results displayed in a list or on a map.

Latitude and longitude details are given plus pricing, facilities, telephone numbers and reviews (if any).  The database is held on the device but you will need an internet connection to view maps and also to update the database from time to time.

    Chris, just a thought……..
‘Burtie’s Bus’ will be in the York area over the weekend 24/25 August and possibly longer either side of that weekend. Would you and Annie fancy a Yorkshire Fat Raskle and coffee in Betty’s?

What a great idea. We really like the Betty’s at Harlow Carr Gardens as well Onlyvdifficulty is we are away between 23rd and 27th in Cheltenham. How long after the Bank Holiday weekend will you be around?

Now that is a very good question well presented!…….sorry Chris but as we have no fixed plans at all I cannot answer accurately. I had not even put 2 and 2 together and realised that it is the August Bank Holiday weekend. Best get a move on and book a site I suppose. I don’t imagine that it would be out of the question for us to travel north much earlier in the week, shall I keep you posted?

Yes, keep me posted. If you are stuck we have plenty of room if you need a stop over. We even have electric, waste, toilet emptying and water outside so just let me know. See if the dates work.

Hi, those are exactly the days we will be away :(. What are you doing after that?
We are currently away. If you have a look at the Contact page there is a link for a tracker app which is quite neat and shows a map of where we are and where we have been.
