Legoland Staff Car Park

Date of stay 6th April 2013: How friendly are these guys? We bought a two day ticket, for a Saturday and Sunday for Legoland Windsor . One adult and two children for around £145 which I think wasn’t bad value. I had seen on Motorhome Facts that it seemed to be possible to stay in the car park overnight but it is always with some trepidation that you arrive in case things have changed.

Anyway, whilst we waited to go in I spoke to guest services, right by the entrance who immediately said we could stay and to move to the staff car park when it came to time to exit. I know it’s my age but he seemed too young to have that easy authority – could we really stay? At the end of the day we drove slowly out of the main car park (which is massive and we simply made sure we parked at the end in a double space – again, no issues) down to the roundabout and back in to the staff car park entrance. here a cheerful security guard asked if we were staying and told us to drive to the far end of the car park and make ourselves comfortable.

All in all a very friendly experience and I have to say the days in the park were excellent too – although I would advise bringing a packed lunch if you want to keep your costs down.
