First of all my thanks to a very helpful person on the Alde stand. Apparently, I can swap out the current (very confusing) control panel for my Alde 3010 system for their new touch screen panel which seems 1000% easier to use. Not only that, he said that if I mentioned the show I could have £30 off the normal price making it £150. I shall be ‘investing’.
The stand itself was neat and i didn’t realise the system could extend to heating seats as well. We have had Alde in every caravan and motorhome we have had – it is great. They also now have a downloadable app from the iTunes store so you have manuals and instructions with you when you are on the go. Strangely, they have an app but apparently no Twitter presence. Not completely in the 21st century yet.
Next up, my friends at RoadPro who now have a photo of ,my RS Elysian on the front cover of their 2013 catalogue. Andy in full flow here as always. Tons of knowledge and always up for a chat, which is nice. I also managed to keep my wallet in my pocket which is not always the case.
As ever, it was great to chat to Steve at BritStops (£25 lighter but happier with my 2013 book), they were very helpful on the Thule stand and I finished the day with a £10 bag of salami and three cheeses for £10. Good day out.
